Tired of travel deals that don’t work from the Highlands?
Most travel deal newsletters aren’t built for those of us that live in the Highlands. This one absolutely is.
Two deals a month straight to your inbox – personally checked by me so they work from Inverness
Deals include packages and build your own trips as well as solo deals
What Is Mel’s Travel Club?
You know the drill. A deal lands in your inbox and the headline price looks genuinely exciting. You click through, you start planning — and then reality hits.
The flights go from Manchester, Stansted or Edinburgh.
You check the connection from Inverness and find the timings don’t work — to get the deal you will need an overnight stay and maybe two. Suddenly that headline price looks very different.
You add up the extra flights, the hotel nights, and what looked like a bargain is now just an average deal with a lot of extra hassle attached.
And if you’re travelling solo, it often gets worse. You click through full of optimism, do the sums, and discover that the single supplement has made the whole thing almost the same price as travelling as a couple.
Another deal that wasn’t really a deal at all.
Sound familiar? I’ve been there too. So I built something that fixes it.
Every deal I feature in Mels Travel Club works from Inverness — and I mean actually works.
I check the all connection timings personally before anything reaches your inbox.
Your time is worth more than clicking through to discover a deal that was never really meant for you.
Who Is Melanie?

In 2020 I set up my own travel website – The Professional Traveller – to share trip reviews and guides from my travels.
In 2023 I became an independent travel agent – as part of a consortium customers get the best of local service and the backing of a big company.
